/giveaway end

Description​

This command allows you to prematurely terminate a running giveaway event on your Discord server. Please note that if you end a giveaway early, it will conclude without selecting a winner. All participants will have their ticket points refunded in full.

Usage​

/giveaway end <giveaway_id>

Parameters​

  • <giveaway_id>: The ID of the giveaway to end. It can be found in the giveaway message.

Examples​

  • Example 1: End a giveaway with the ID 12345:

    /giveaway end giveaway_id:12345

Notes​

  • Only the server administrator can end it.
  • Once a giveaway is ended, it cannot be restarted.
  • No winner will be selected.
  • Paid points for tickets will be refunded to participants upon giveaway termination.

  • Q: Can I end a giveaway that has already ended?

    A: No, you cant end a giveaway that has already been terminated. The /giveaway end command is only for ending active giveaways.

  • Q: What happens to the prize if the giveaway is ended before the duration is complete?

    A: If the giveaway is ended early, no winner will be chosen and no prize will be awarded.

  • Q: Will participants be notified if the giveaway is ended early?

    A: Yes, participants will be notified that the giveaway has ended and their ticket fees have been refunded.
